Grief counseling is about more than death. We grieve after trauma, change, and all kinds of losses. Grief counseling can also be very much about death, and making meaning after saying goodbye, or reckoning with our own mortality. Counseling can help during these challenging and important processes.

My professional background includes intensive work in suicide prevention and intervention. I have also done significant work in grief counseling, trauma work, and working with LGBTQ+ clients. I am a current PhD student in Psychology, and I have given a number of professional presentations on these topics. I am not a clinical supervisor for associates.
